02How often is your data on the VIXSpike website updated?
The VIX Term Month graph data is updated automatically every minute. However, please note that the CBOE quotes are delayed by 15 minutes.

A daily signal for equity portfolio allocation, delivered in a simple newsletter format – $39.99/month, with a 7-day free trial. You'll receive one email every U.S. trading day before market close, including the daily signal, supporting analytics, and performance snapshot.

04Do you offer refunds?
No, you can try the daily signal newsletter with a 7-day free trial before committing.
05Is the subscription renewed automatically?
Yes, subscription renews automatically (monthly or annually) unless cancelled.
06How do I cancel?
To cancel, use the "Manage Subscription" button in your email. This will direct you to Stripe, where you can cancel at any time. Cancellation stops future billing, but you will retain access for the remainder of your paid period.
07What happens if my payment fails?
If payment doesn't go through, access will be paused after 5 days. Your account remains active for 6 months, giving you time to update payment details.
08Where do I update my credit card details?
To update your payment information, open any of our newsletter emails and click the "Manage Subscription" button. This will securely connect you to Stripe, where you can update your credit card details at any time.

01What is included in the Volatility Data plans?
When you purchase a Volatility Data plan (Pro or Essential), you get two components:

One-time historical database
  • Immediate access to 20+ years of end-of-day volatility data (VIX, S&P 500, VIX futures, etc.)
  • This database is yours to keep permanently — even if you cancel your subscription later

Ongoing daily updates (via subscription)
  • End-of-day updates to keep your dataset current
  • 25 download credits per month (resets each month). Each download gives you the full, updated database — including all new data up to the date you download
  • Data available in multiple formats: CSV, XLSX, and JSON
02How do I subscribe?
Simply select your preferred plan on the Volatility Data page and then complete checkout via our secure payment provider, Stripe.
03Do you offer a free trial?
No; however, we provide a free sample dataset before purchase. You can contact us here if you need more information or support.
04Do you offer refunds?
No. Once purchased, Data Solutions are non-refundable. This is because your payment grants immediate access to download the full historical dataset, which becomes permanently yours. To help you make an informed decision, you can download a free sample dataset before purchasing.
05Is the subscription renewed automatically?
Yes, subscription renews automatically (monthly or annually) unless cancelled.
06How often can I re-download the database?
Up to 25 times per month. Additional credits can be purchased directly in the VIXSpike platform if needed.
07Can I upgrade or downgrade my data subscription once I've purchased a data package?
Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade at any time through the VIXSpike Data Portal by selecting a different plan.
08How do I cancel?
You can unsubscribe anytime directly via the VIXSpike Data Portal. Cancelling prevents future billing, but you will continue to own any historical data already downloaded. You will still be able to use your remaining downloads for the rest of the paid period.
09Where can I change my email address and password?
Your email address and password can be changed in the VIXSpike dashboard, section: My Profile.
10What happens if my payment fails?
